Where is Bilpin Fruit Bowl?

What are the opening hours?

Our shop is open seven days a week, 8:00am–5:00pm. Fruit picking is seasonal and runs at booked times, so please check picking dates and availability before travelling.

Can we have something to eat or bring a picnic?

Our shop and café offer pies, sweet treats, coffee and local favourites. Picnics are welcome in the designated picnic area. Bring your own picnic rugs and chairs, and keep picnics out of the picking areas.

Please call 0404 061 262 before your visit to discuss your requirements. Weekday orchard tours and fruit picking for groups can be arranged with advance bookings.

Fruit picking

Do we need to book fruit picking?

Yes—advance bookings are essential. Choose an available date and time on the booking page. Spaces are limited, so book before making the trip.

What fruit can we pick?

What’s ready changes with the seasons and growing conditions. Explore what we grow, then check current picking availability or call 0404 061 262 before travelling for a particular fruit.

How long is a picking session?

Standard bookings are for two hours. Please arrive for your booked time and finish your visit by the end of your session.

Do we pay for the fruit we take home?

Yes. Your entry fee includes fruit eaten while you’re on the farm; fruit and vegetables taken home are charged separately. You must pay for everything you pick. For strawberries, punnets are paid for before entering the hothouse and weighed when you return. Check the booking information for current charges.

What should we bring?

Bring your booking confirmation with its barcode ready to scan on arrival. You’re welcome to bring your own picking bags and scissors for strawberry picking; picking bags are also available for a fee. Comfortable shoes, a hat and drinking water are useful for a day outdoors.

Can children join in?

Yes—fruit picking is a family activity. Children must be supervised at all times. Choose the correct adult and child tickets when booking, and follow staff instructions about where and what to pick.

Bookings and payments

How much does fruit picking cost?

You’ll find current adult and child entry prices on the booking page. Choose your visitor numbers and available session to see the booking total. Fruit and vegetables taken home are charged separately.

What payment methods are available?

Cash and card are accepted on site. For online bookings, use the payment options shown at checkout.

What is the cancellation policy?

Bookings are refunded when Bilpin Fruit Bowl cancels the activity. Please read the full cancellation information on the booking page before booking.
